In a partnership so wonderful it just had to involve our favourite comic book heroes, Kabam and Marvel Entertainment have joined forces to announce the launch of Marvel Contest of Champions on mobile. While 2014 seems to have been the year that superhero themed games took over just about every gaming platform, it’s great to finally see a quality game that will appeal to true Marvel fans from way back.

In a bid to keep the competition interesting, players can choose to either venture through their journey solo or engage their friends in player-vs-player combat scenarios. While the quality of gameplay featured in Marvel Contest of Champions sees us stepping into the realm of console, the developers have gone above and beyond to ensure this is a game that can be enjoyed for hours at a time or just as easily played on the go – keeping in true mobile style. When it comes to the PvP element of the game, for instance, users have the option of engaging in a quick one on one battle or heading into an epic three on three arena.
