The best things in life are free – and Save the Teenies is no exception. Created by two homegrown Aussie developers, over what we’re sure was a very testing two year period, the latest in freemium games has already earned itself a 5 star rating from Android users. Offering up a fun new app that’s attractive to all ages, we predict its popularity will only continue to grow, as the guys from Giant Margarita gain some much deserved exposure in the mobile gaming community. With so many puzzle style games crowding the app stores, it can be hard to weed out the good from the bad and with so much competition even the best developers can easily become just another number. Save the Teenies, however, is already taking the world by storm as it’s accepted into the 17th Annual Independent Games Festival in 2015.
We all know that I’m a little bias towards cute puzzle games, but as I passed on this new app to friends, I realized that not only were casual gamers loving it, but hardcore gamers were also intrigued by the carefully thought out physics puzzle elements – a tough combination to perfect. With more than 10 hours of playable content, and available on both iOS and Android devices, the game is sure to keep you entertained for hours on end. What I personally love about this game is that the team at Giant Margarita have kept to the true essence of mobile gaming, by creating an app that can just as easily be played on the go when you have a few minutes to spare or become an all-consuming game that you just can’t put down.
Social aspects add an edge of competition to the game, as players have the option of linking with Google Play to unlock achievements and compete against friends. As with most freemium games, in-app purchases are offered, however the game is completely playable from start to finish without reaching into your wallet – and with more than 150 level challenges, this truly is the epitome of free to play entertainment for mobile users.
Save the Teenies is available from both the Google Play Store & iTunes App Store, so be sure to check out what all the fuss is about!
