Recently, the hot new app reTXT was launched for iOS and Android devices. The app is looking to replace the standard messaging app and is said to give users more control over their messages even after they are sent.
The key feature of the app is that you are able to delete a message that has already been delivered. The app also offers the option to edit the message after it is sent, if there is a typo or you simply wish to change your message. In addition to this, you are able to flag a message if you do not understand it, sending the sender a request for clarification.
The app also provides the function to join, leave and name chat groups for better organisation. On top of the standard messages, you are also able to send audio clips, videos, locations and contact information.
Mr Kevin Wooten, the CEO and co-founder of re TXT Labs says “Consumers have overwhelmingly chosen text messaging as the preferred choice for mobile communications, yet they actually have little control over their messages thanks to autocorrecting tools and the lack of ability to easily fix errors leading to miscommunication.” He says that the reTXT editing features put users back in control of their texting conversation.
The app is currently available for iOS and Android users and is also coming soon to the Windows phone. It is available in the iTunes App Store and Google Play for just $.99 and even offers a free 60-day trial! Don’t wait around, save and be in control of your text messaging today!
