When you’re out and about taking snap shots at an event it’s easy to miss getting your hands on them. There are people taking group photos and sometimes you even have to get multiple people to take them just to ensure that you get a copy.
Well now, just recently launched is the new app Moments that has been built to assist you in sharing photos with people who were with you at particular events.
When the app is opened, it shows you events grouped together by specific events determined by time-specific metadata of your photos. The app has the ability to recognise who is in the photo using facial recognition and suggests that you share the image with them. You also have the capability of manually choosing friends to add.
For example, a good use for the app would be if you attended a wedding. There are great photos taken on the day and we all wish there was an easy and quick way to share them around. The same can go for smaller events, like a night out or a dinner party.
The moments app creates a simply and private way of sharing and receiving photos that you are in. The app is fairly straight forward and quite useful and is available for download on iOS and Android. It will be rolling out to more countries over time and is available at the Google Play Store and Apples’ App Store.
