Monster High has been one of the most popular tween brands from Mattell over the past few years, with young girls everywhere accessorizing their favourite dolls. Now, with an already popular merchandise, videos and online games base, fans can now sit back and enjoy Monster High: Ghouls and Jewels on iOS devices. While Monster High was originally targeted at tweens and school age kids, this new mobile game is sure to have players of all ages addicted, as they enter the game as the new Ghoul at School.
Puzzle games have increased even more so in popularity over the past 12 months and the developers at BluBox Games have grasped onto this concept as they created the new hit for Monster High fans. Like many other puzzle games, Monster High: Ghouls and Jewels asks players to swap symbols in order to make matches to clear the 100+ levels that await. The Monster High range of merchandise includes an array of fashionable outfits and places great emphasis on dressing up your doll to look their coolest. The creators of this game have honed in on this aspect of the brand in order to monetise their app, by making in-app purchases available to players, including new outfits and pets that will give users better power-ups during various levels.
Monster High: Ghouls and Jewels is predicted to be a massive hit on the Apple App Charts, with CEO of BluBox Games, Philippe Erwin, saying “We’ve merged the brand’s unique twist with familiar match-three gameplay in Ghouls and Jewels, and think the result will not only entertain current fans, but expand the Monster High consumer base to completely new audiences.”
This new game is free to download from the app store on iOS devices and will soon be available on Android mobile devices in the coming months.
