You may have noticed that as of late the iTunes and Google Play App Stores seem to be overrun with arcade coin-dozer style games. These addictive, yet incredibly simple games, have proven to be a success at arcades around the world, so there is no reason why they couldn’t be equally as successful on mobile devices. Personally, I find the concept of placing coins, cookies, candy or toys onto a conveyer belt quite monotonous, but SEGA may have just found the solution for gamers like myself.
SEGA Networks has announced the launch of their latest creation, Dragon Coins, on both iOS and Android devices. Unlike many of the coin-dozer games currently occupying the App Stores, SEGA Networks have combined this game play style with ever popular RPG Battle Elements. Rather than simply being given an endless supply of coins or, better yet, waiting hours to receive more coins just so that you can add them to your already sturdy mountain on the conveyor belt, players will have to defeat various enemies and monsters in order to earn their coins.

The developers have created quite a challenging version from the original style of this game, with sources at Inside Mobile Apps saying that “players are presented with enemies at the top of the screen, and their team of monsters at the bottom. A coin-dozer machine moves automatically in the center of the screen, and players have a limited number of coins to drop onto the machine on each turn. As coins fall off of the machine and into trays corresponding to each member of the player’s team, these monsters attack and more coins can randomly fall onto the machine.”
While Dragon Coins is a free to play game, players do have the option of indulging with in-app purchases to buy Premium Summoning Chests, which increase the playing stakes by contain rare monsters for your team. Available on both iOS and Android mobile devices, this is one coin-dozer game that may actually be worth checking out!
