Sneaky Games has announced the official launch of their ancient gladiator battle game, with Glorious Maximus making its mark on iOS and Android devices. The creators of the game have made the intense battle game play style easy to get into, using a two button system for challenges throughout the game, perfect for mobile devices. In this case, keeping the controls simple was the best thing the developers could do, as it enhances the gaming experience for users, allowing them to fight viciously and get involved in the storyline without getting lost in the controls.

Whether you want to play as Caesar or Spartacus (or many of the other infamous names you’ll find in Glorious Maximus), you’ll be battling barbarians to win gold to upgrade your characters, weaponry and armour. The concept of the game is rather simple, yet very entertaining, as players crusade throughout the various levels, defeating enemies along their way. As mentioned previously, the game works on a two-button system – block and attack. Players have a stamina bar and each move made will reduce the stamina of your character, so it’s important to defeat your opponents before running out.
“Glorious Maximus was born out of our desire to do smaller games with a faster development cycle. We wanted to see how quickly our team of 4 could build a small well put together title,” says Sneaky Games. “We ended up being able to build Glorious Maximus in just a few months and we are excited for people to play!”
