If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it – right? Well, Rovio is certainly cashing in on this theory, releasing yet another version of their ever popular Angry Birds on Android and iOS devices. The latest installment sees Rovio reaching out to a more feminine target audience, as players help Stella to protect her home from the “Bad Princess”! Keeping in line with the previous Angry Birds games, players will fling Stella across their screen to smash the pigs that the evil princess is using as her minions.
Angry Birds Stella can easily be summed up as the cutesy version of the existing games of the same name, but I’m sure this won’t stop all the diehard Angry Birds fans out there from downloading it. While she may be adorable and pink, with big blue eyes, Stella has a few tricks up her sleeve, offering special abilities to boost the skills of players – a handy trait to have as the levels increase in difficulty. There are some new and interesting aspects to the game this time around, as players are asked to use a trampoline in order to bounce Stella into her targets.
While Stella is the main character of this new story, players can also choose to use a number of her friends, who all come toting their own special abilities. Dahlia, Poppy, Willow and Luca are the other angry birds you can expect to come across throughout your journey, who can all help you in different ways, from transforming into a tornado to creating shockwaves that will destroy almost everything.
Known as one of the most downloaded and top grossing game titles throughout the years, we’d be silly to expect nothing but great things from this latest installment of Angry Birds – now available to download from the iTunes and Google Play App Stores.
