After much speculation since Dong Nguyen ‘tweeted’ that he was thinking of making a Flappy Bird comeback, fans all around the world can now brace themselves for one aspect that has been marked as a definite new feature to the game… multiplayer. Sounds like so much fun, right? I’m going to lean more towards a future of friendship breakups and broken phones. Just take a moment to consider how enraged you were when you JUST hit that pipe and your Flappy Bird Leader Board dreams died right in front of you – now add your competitive nature and your best friend into the mix and we’ll see how many people come out unscathed.
While we’re not too sure yet what exactly the multiplayer mode of the game will entail, the game is bound to hit an all new high of downloads in the charts, even if some sprout simply from curiosity.
