Google has done a fantastic job with improving Androids performance over the years and making it what it is today. This however, does not mean there will not be further enhancements made to the performance platform in the future. There will no doubt be improvements made to help improve the apps running on the Android platform and to do this Google has acquired Pulse.io. This was confirmed on Twitter where the company tweeted about the acquisition.
Pulse specialises in showing developers how to speed up the performance of their apps. Google hasn’t yet stated what their intentions are with mobile performance startup however presumably it will relate to app optimisation that may be extended to third party developers or Google’s own apps.
Pulse.io came out and recently stated “Pulse.io started with a vision for how to bring the world of performance monitoring into the mobile age. Since then, our tools have helped developers ensure their tens of millions of users have a great mobile experience.”
As we mentioned, the intentions for the acquisition remain uncertain, we can hope that the recent attainment for Google can lead to speedier Android apps and Android platform into the future.
While we wait, support and service will remain available to customers. This could however, be coming to a standstill as the company has recently stated there will no longer be more features.
