Animoca Brands has happily announced the launch of their latest creation, Garfield’s Adventure! on mobile. This level based adventure game sees players rushing to collect as many tasty snacks as they can before they’re inevitably devoured by a wall of fire, which is hot on their tails throughout the entirety of their journey. Players have the option of choosing between an endless or arcade mode within the app, however both are quite similar, offering the same goal and challenge.

What I love about this game it that Animoca Brands have stayed true to the characteristics of our beloved comic strip character. While you wouldn’t initially picture Garfield in a game that offers up endless running elements, we all know that the world’s laziest cat would do just about anything for lasagna! The snacks that are collected throughout the levels transfer into in-game currency, ultimately allowing players to unlock more levels in arcade mode. It’s not just more levels that are on offer in the store, however, with players able to purchase upgrades and even some new characters as they advance throughout the game.
