There’s exciting times ahead for mobile gaming as online legends Nexon announce a partnership with Turbo Studios, a development team based out of Brooklyn. While Turbo is a relatively new player in the industry, with the company only being founded last year, the boys from Turbo Studios are anything but newbies. To say they’re experienced in the gaming industry is an understatement, with years of work between them for big name giants like Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, Kabam and Zynga.
While this will be the first game for Android and iOS devices from Turbo Studios, the partnership with Nexon, combined with the years of experience of the team, is really raising the bar high for expectations with what these guys will bring to the table. While there’s a lot of ‘hush hush’ about specific details for the launch, we can expect quality game play with the team saying they’ll be bringing “AAA ambition to mobile game development” – so hardcore gamers, get ready for something big.

The Brooklyn boys have really played it smart with this international partnership, with the CEO of Turbo Studios saying, “Partnering with Nexon lets us retain our focus on our true passion – developing killer core games that people around the world will love. Teaming up with people who understand how to propel our vision globally is invaluable.”
Turbo Studios are certainly not the only ones benefiting from this partnership, however, with Owen Mahoney from Nexon saying, “We are excited by the fresh ideas Turbo brings to game development and thrilled to be partnering with a like-minded studio.”
While this news may have you on the edge of your seat, unfortunately you’ll have to wait until 2015, when Nexon and Turbo Studios say the official launch date of their new game will be released.
